Apostolic Leaders

Senior Leaders

Tyvon and Jamallia are the founders and senior leaders of The Resting Place Apostolic Center. Tyvon is originally from Washington, D.C, while Jamallia is from Charleston, South Carolina. They have been married for over 20 years and have five children; 3 daughters and 2 adopted sons from Ghana and the Philippines.

Tyvon and Jamallia’s upbringing and early experiences ignited the fire inside them, manifesting in their home through adoption and family ministry. Externally, they have an inherent passion for propelling God’s people into an authentic relationship with the Father, seeing marriages succeed, and establishing God-intended relationships for perfect unions.

In 2018, while living in North Carolina, they founded 4 Winds International, a ministry providing much-needed pastoral care to missionaries, ministry leaders, and their families. Over the years, they have served as deacons, youth group leaders, cell group leaders, and associate pastors. They have participated in SOZO, Restoring the Foundations, and Ministering Spiritual Gifts Levels 1 through 4 and are trained in Married for Life: 2=1. Tyvon and Jamallia were 1st ordained in 2018 under the leadership of Apostle Kenneth and Pastor Angela Lester. The Petway’s were officially commissioned into their apostolic call in the Fall of 2023.

Tyvon is a gifted minstrel and psalmist that uses his gifts to steward the presence of God amongst his people. His most prevalent gift to the body of Christ is Servant leadership and a desire to see God’s people walking in freedom, discovering their purpose, and making a difference.

Jamallia has the heart to see women walking in their identity and position in Christ. She is a dynamic speaker and teacher of God’s word. She loves people and encourages them to grow beyond their current circumstances.

Pastors

Pastors

Joshua and Tina DuBois are 5-fold pastors on the RP Apostolic Center Leadership Team. Joshua is originally from St. Louis, Missouri, and Tina is from Houston, Texas, but grew up in Los Angeles, California. Joshua and Tina met in southern California, where Joshua was stationed in the Marine Corps. They have been married for 23 years and have two adult children.

Joshua and Tina grew up in broken, fatherless homes and were determined not to have the same for their children. However, neither knew what they needed until they met Jesus. Joshua and Tina both hungered to learn more about their relationship with Christ, and with the help of some mentors/disciple-makers, they grew quickly in their walk with Christ. Along the way, Joshua and Tina realized the need to mentor and disciple others; this brought them full circle from being disciples to disciple-makers.

Joshua and Tina explored many short-term mission trips, which led them to full-time mission work in Thailand (for 3 years) after Ron Estes of Breath of God International Outreach in Greenville, North Carolina, ordained them in 2016. Joshua and Tina have served in multiple facets of ministry, including children and youth ministries, men and women fellowship, cell group leaders, deacons, and associate pastors. Marriage ministry and per-material counseling have also been a passion for both. Tina has also been trained in Saving your Marriage Before it Starts (SYMBIS) and Prepare/Enrich. Tina is also a pastoral counselor at RP and it currently writing her dissertation for a doctor of education degree in Community Care and Counseling with a cognate and traumatology.
